Our Story
A downtown luncheonette built around counter classics, Sun-Drop treats and fresh new flavor.

Small-town counter
The way it used to be, cleaned up for today.
Sundrop Shoppe opened on NW Atlantic Street in 2019 with one idea: bring back the small-town luncheonette. Brick walls, a hand-lettered sign, striped awnings over the sidewalk and a soda fountain humming behind the counter.
The Sun-Drop connection is no accident — that citrus soda has been a Tennessee habit for generations, and it turns up here in floats, shandies and our lemony Sun-Drop cake.
Made by hand
Cooked to order behind the counter.
Pancakes hit the griddle to order. Pot roast slow-cooks for our famous French dip. Chicken salad, pimento cheese and soups are made in house, and burgers are cooked to order. The board keeps the old lunch-counter spirit while making each dish easy to understand at a glance.
Old-school charm, fresh new flavor. That's the whole plan.
